Hey! I'm Thea, the founder behind Custom K9. With over five years of professional experience and firsthand knowledge, as the owner of six dogs, I understand that no two dogs are the same. That’s why we take a holistic approach to training, considering not just obedience, but your dog’s overall well-being, temperament, and lifestyle.

I believe in creating custom training plans that suit both you and your dog’s unique needs, abilities, and goals. At Custom K9, we don’t just train dogs, we create lasting partnerships between owners and their dog.

My journey into dog training started with my own dog, Ziva, who taught me just how powerful the right training can be. That passion quickly turned into a mission to help other dog owners experience the same transformation.

2 years ago, I had the privilege of mentoring under Thea, which gave me the knowledge and skills to take my training to the next level. Since then, I’ve worked with over 40 clients, helping them overcome challenges and build stronger relationships with their dogs. Whether it’s reactivity or just creating a calmer household, I believe every dog and owner deserves a training plan that fits their unique needs.

With many years of experience learning from some of the best decoys in the UK. My passion lies in building strong, expressive, confident dogs, whether it's for sport, personal protection, or simply unlocking their full genetic potential.

I’ve decoyed at PSA clubs and worked with a variety of dogs, developing a deep understanding of what it takes to bring out their drive, resilience and stability under pressure. My job is to prepare both dog and handler for success, whether in competitive sport or real-world applications.
